Turbine

Google user data

Google API Disclosure

This disclosure explains how Turbine uses information received from Google APIs.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Purpose

Turbine connects to Google services only when a user authorizes access. If a user does not connect Google, Turbine does not access Google user data.

Google Calendar data helps Turbine understand availability and mirror approved scheduled task blocks. Gmail data, where authorized, helps Turbine surface relevant work context, urgent threads, and user-facing assistant answers.

Limited Use

Turbine's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Turbine does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it except as needed to provide or improve user-facing Turbine features, comply with law, protect security, or as part of a user-approved or legally permitted business transfer.

Scopes and minimization

Turbine should request only the Google scopes needed for the connected features a user enables, and should use Google user data only to the extent reasonably necessary for those features.

If requested access changes materially, users should be asked to review and authorize the updated access.

Storage and deletion

Turbine may store Google-derived data such as calendar events, busy windows, source links, email snippets, and generated context where needed to provide the service. Users can disconnect Google integrations and request deletion at privacy@turbine.so.

Human access

Human access to Google user data should be limited to cases needed for user support, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or debugging with appropriate safeguards.
